A recent trip to Alice Springs to support the promotion of an exhibition organised by Araluen on Australian landscape painting proved to be a wonderful experience. Coinciding with the 30th and sadly final iteration of the annual Beanie festival, the exhibition was thoughtfully developed and set out by Araluen curators using the watercolours, oils and drawings of John Borrack from the artist’s collection alongside selected artworks from the gallery’s permanent collection.
