Research and Writing
Rodney James is a highly respected writer and researcher who regularly contributes essays, articles and interviews on Australian and International art for leading auction houses, public and commercial galleries and art magazines. Rodney was the first regional gallery curator in Australia to be awarded the Gordon Darling Foundation Global Travel Grant and was the inaugural recipient of the State Library of Victoria’s Dr Joseph Brown AO Fellowship. His current work , Letters to a Critic: Alan McCulloch’s World of Art was shortlisted for the Hazel Rowley Literary Fellowship for biography and published by Miegunyah Press in November 2023. |
